This is one of my favorite glaze combos because of the resemblance ocean breaking over sand. Unfortunately, it is not easy to replicate. The color of the matte turquoise glaze is very sensitive to the thickness of the glaze. I must have held this plate longer in the matte turquoise glaze to get a thick layer because the deep blue in this plate is consistent.
