I thought about making a set of plates like this because I love the contrast of the raw terra clay against the brown clay that it becomes when it is glazed with this transparent glaze.
Unless someone has asked me to make a set of something, I find that I gravitate towards making different things. Even when I have a sudden interest in re-creating something old, I can't help but make a slight change.
