Usually I love to trim a foot on the bottom of a piece, but recently I started to create these foot-less pieces and they feel really nice to hold.
For this plate, I first hand splashed various colors of Amaco celadon glazes on this plate. After they dried, I then splashed a second layer using white glaze which is where the cloudy texture results.
It's interesting that the white glaze reacts slightly different with each of the different color glazes.
